🔔中文学校将于9月8日正式开学。请尚未注册课程和缴纳学费的家长和学生们尽快完成网上注册。

‼️请注意，网上注册的截止日期为8月31日。

‼️为了避免支付$10的迟交费用，请务必于8月31日前完成学费的缴纳。

‼️开学后的两周内，家长和学生可以前往学校行政办公桌进行课程调换。

中文学校最新推出Art-2中级绘画课程！ Art-2中级绘画课程适合拥有1-2年绘画基础的学生。课程将使用彩笔（可洗）、蜡笔、铅笔和勾线笔作为主要绘画工具，学习线条、造型、色彩以及综合材料的运用。我们还将结合节日主题，教授多种绘画技巧。通过这个课程，孩子们不仅能提高绘画技能，还能在快乐的氛围中享受创作的乐趣。

中文学校数学课程 (Chinese School New School Year Math Classes)

中文学校聘请SUNY Albany数学系殷蓬航教授为数学课程的director，对数学课进行了大幅改革。
本学年数学课Math1—4采用Singapore Math教材，将小学阶段数学知识更有结构性和渐进性地抽丝剥茧，娓娓道来；
Math5—8依旧采用Art of Problem Solving教材，但是着重于把每本教材精心选择的章节讲深讲透，让学生扎实掌握相关知识点。
开学之初，每个数学班的全学年教学安排会上传到各个班级的Google Classroom。作业布置，以及师生交流也都会依托Google Classroom。
在教学过程中，学校会根据学生和老师的反馈，及时调整教学内容和教学方式。
此外，每个数学班不仅有教学经验丰富的小老师领衔主讲，他们TA们也都是有着可观的数学教学经历。精兵强将，配合精心设计的全新课程重装上阵，新学年的数学课期待您的参与！

If you are interested in learning Chinese. Chinese School offers the following 4 levels of Chinese as Second Language (CSL) :

*CSL Level 1– Beginner level, for youth learners who are starting from ground zero, or with very little experience in the Chinese language 
*CSL Level 2– Intermediate level, for learners who have studied Chinese language for 1-4 years
*CSL Level 3– Advanced level, for learners who have studied Chinese language for 2-5 years
*CSL for Adult Beginners – Beginner level, for adult learners who are starting from ground zero, or with very little experience in the Chinese language

Class Time： Sundays 1:00 pm-2:40 pm
             9/08/24–5/18/25（No classes on holiday break)

**2024-2025学年中文老师招聘启事**

中文学校是纽约首府规模最大的学习中文及传播中华文化的社区。它是一个以志愿者为基础的非盈利组织,服务于当地的华人及非华人家庭。

学校拥有中文学前班至9年级，中文AP，和中文外语课程（CSL）不同水平系统全面的教学课程，同时组织与中文相关的文化活动。

教学方式: 实体及小班教学模式。

教学地址：Shaker Middle School, Latham, NY 12110

教学时间：2024年九月份到2025五月份的周日下午（学校假期除外），一共27个教学日

工作职责：
按教学大纲备课教授中文，跟踪学生作业情况和进展程度,并批改作业和参加教师培训。组织学生参加学校组织的各项活动等。

This fun and engaging class introduces basic drawing and painting techniques, helping young artists explore their creativity in a supportive environment. Perfect for beginners, it’s a great way to spark your child’s love for art!

💃Hip-Hop Dance 街舞 (Age 8 and up)

This class is open to no-experience to experienced dancers who want to learn hip-hop choreography and perform in the End of the Year shows! It's a low stress, beginner friendly course catered to kids who are interested in dance. Students will be taught step-by-step dance moves and will learn basic hip hop sequences, which will be put together to form a dance performance for others to enjoy!
