比赛方式 :
首先阅读文章，然后在网上答题。竞赛初级101篇短文，中级88篇短文，高级原著前50回。 每篇有10个问题，每题有4选1的答案。请让学生 先试样品。http://ewritechinese.com/contest/sample/

适合参赛人员:
世界各地凡是以中文为外语，学习了几年中文的学生均可以参赛。 然而，凡是已经获得过初、中级一等奖、二等奖合计两次的学生应该参加中、高级水平的比赛。

中文水平:
初级至少要认识 500 个汉字，
中级至少 1000 个汉字，
高级至少 1800 个汉字。
请用 Character Game http://www.ewritechinese.com/evaluation/查字。
如得了1000分，相当于500字（每字2分）。

参赛费:
每人$25，网上报名 http://www.ewritechinese.com/registration/ 报名缴费后，
网上提供初、中级的 e 书，免费。

注意: 报名时要用学生本人的姓名，以免奖状或证书上出现家长的名字。

奖励和奖金
一等奖：初级与中级各1个，奖金各 $50;
二等奖：初级与中级各2个，奖金各 $25;
三等奖：初级与中级各3-9个，奖金各 $15。
高级今年仍为试点，有名次。如果学生能够读完50回，会有适当奖励。
成绩凡是达到 70% 的各级学生，均将获得奖状证书。

Advanced: "Journey to the West"- original first 50 chapters

Contest Format
Read the 101 essays of the beginner book,
the 88 essays of the intermediate ebook, or the first 50 chapters of “Journey to the West”.
Then, answer multiple choice questions online.
Each essay will have 10 questions, each question will have 4 choices.

Suitable Contestants
Students who have studied Chinese as a 2nd language for several years can participate. However, participants who have received 1st or 2nd place awards twice or more should consider participating in a higher level contest.

Chinese Level
Recognize at least 500 Chinese characters for the Beginner Contest.
Please find out the number of characters you recognize with our online Character Game.

A score of 1000 equals roughly 500 words (each character is worth 2 points).

Entry Fee
$25 per student, register at our website Registration. http://www.ewritechinese.com/registration/
The ebook is free, available for registered students only.
Please make sure to use the student's name when you sign a student for the contest.

Awards
One contestant will win first place and an award of $50
Two contestants will win second place and $25
Three to nine beginner or intermediate contestants can win third place and $15
Advanced contest winners currently will receive a certain reward.
Students who achieve 70% or above will receive a certificate of competency.

Coordinators Chinese language teachers or parents may act as coordinators for the students in North America and other areas.

Groups of 5 or more are eligible for 5% discount of the registration fee.

这周六下午一点将在华社举行YCT三级和四级的考试，考试的具体时间地点如下：

考试地点（Test Location): 华社(Chinese Community Center) 11 Avis Drive, Latham, NY 12110
请家长提醒参加考试的同学：
务必准时到达考场。（按照考试规则，阅读部分开始后迟到考生将不能进入考场参加考试）
必须携带:
-准考证
-铅笔(两支以上2B铅笔)
-橡皮
一定不要携带:
录音机、照相机、词典、MP3、移动电话机、传呼机、便携式电脑、笔记本、教科书及其他与考试无关的用品。

Hi, Parents and Students,
The YCT Level 3 and 4 exams will be held on Saturday 1PM at the Chinese Community Center . The specific exam date/time and location are as follows:
Test Date and Time: 3/16/2024 (Saturday) 13:00 PM (EST).
Location: CCC Chinese Community Center 11 Avis Dr, Latham, NY 12110.

A couple of things that you need to pay attention to:
1. Please arrive at the test center on time. (According to the examination rules, candidates who arrive late after the reading section has started will not be allowed to enter the examination room to take the test).
2. Candidates must bring:
Admission ticket
Pencils (two or more 2B pencils)
Eraser
Candidates must NOT bring:
Recording devices, cameras, dictionaries, MP3 players, mobile phones, pagers, laptops, textbooks, or any other irrelevant materials to the examination.
