Math-A-Thon April 12 & 19

各位家长、同学大家好：

4月12日，我们中文学校 Hands-On STEM 和数学二年级到七年级的学生一起参加了 Math-A-Thon 公益活动。孩子们在老师的带领下，挑战了比平时更有难度、也更有趣的数学题，不仅锻炼了思维能力，也在过程中收获了满满的成就感。请看附件活动照片。

更有意义的是，大家也了解了 St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital 是如何帮助与癌症抗争的孩子们，让这次活动不仅是学习，更是一份爱心的传递。

4月19日，还没完成题册的班级会继续进行，也欢迎其他班的同学到学校餐厅来领取免费的数学题册，一起参与进来～

Dear Parents and Students,

On April 12, students from Hands-On STEM and Math grade 2-7 classes joined a Math-A-Thon charity event. With guidance from their teachers, students worked on fun and more challenging math problems than usual. They not only improved their thinking skills but also felt proud of what they accomplished. Please see the attached photos.

More importantly, students learned about the work of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and how it helps children fighting cancer. This made the event not just about learning, but also about caring for others.

On April 19, classes that have not finished their workbooks will continue. Students from other classes are also welcome to stop by the school cafeteria to pick up a free math workbook and join.
