8月30日下午1点到3点中文学校的校务人员将在华社举行2015-16学年现场注册。如果你需要注册帮助或交费(现金或支票)，请下个周日到华社（地址： 11 Avis Drive, Latham NY 12110）。带上您的学校注册号(family ID)将会帮助我们加快注册流程。


如果你对选什么课，尤其是兴趣课，有疑问。在学校主页的课程注册一栏下，点击课程表。选择你感兴趣的课程，可以看到相关课程的学习安排、内容。附件是手工艺术班的课程安排，供大家参考。

Dear Chinese School Families,

The Chinese School staff will host an open-house registration at CCC on August 30th Sunday from 1PM to 3PM. Having your family ID handy will help facilitate the registration process.

CCC is located at 11 Avis Drive, Latham NY 12110. We only accept cash or check for tuition payment.

If you are not sure which class to take, particularly the enrichment class, you can go to the course list under Registration tag on school website. Click on the course you are interested in signing up, it will lead to the curriculum page. I have attached an example of the Art and Craft class for your reference. Hope you find it helpful.

Dear Chinese School Families,

Just a reminder that 2015 CCC annual picnic will be held on August 8th Saturday at Elm Avenue Park, Delmar. Please see details at the following link http://www.cccalbany.org/CCCCMS/node/784.

During this event, Chinese school will have open registration for 2015-16 school year. If you need help in registration or need to make a payment, please stop by the school registration tables and we will be there to walk you through the registration procedures and accept payment (cash or check only). Please make sure you have the school family ID number with you. It will help the registration process.

The payment check needs to be postmarked by August 31st to avoid late fee. Please have check payable to “CCC Chinese School”. The mailing address is “CCC Chinese School, 11 Avis Drive, Latham NY 12110”. Include a filled registration from along with your check so we know which account the check is made for.

The 2015-16 school calendar has been finalized and attached here for your eference. The first day of Chinese School is on September 13th.  Having a hard copy attached to your refrigerator will serve as a good reminder.

中文学校的各位家长、老师，你们好，

本周末是春学期最后一节课。请大家注意，早上10AM上课。

绝大多数学生将参加期末考试。为抓紧时间，课间休息取消，以确保11:30AM下课。有关期末的安排如下:

-       最后一天只有语言课，没有文化、体育课。语言课从10AM开始，11:30AM下课；
-       下学年数学课入学讲座（陆群）10:15AM至11AM在大礼堂；
-       毕业典礼和期末总结在餐厅进行，11:45AM到12:15PM；
-       期末聚餐在餐厅，12PM到1PM;
-       学生娱乐活动大概12:30PM开始，由青年义工团成员组织，到3PM结束。
-       学校3:30PM关门

2014-2015年刊延续去年大受欢迎的彩色版本。我们衷心地感谢张茵，肖玲和张煜三位编辑， 用宝贵的个人时间完成了这项繁琐的工作，记录了大家一个学年美好的回忆。请预定年刊的各班家长代表，上午到徐健那儿领取。

陆群老师会给大家介绍一下下个学年数学班的招生宗旨和方法。讲座时间：星期天上午10点15分至11点； 地点：中文学校礼堂。请感兴趣的家长准时参加讲座，及时了解数学班的新动向。

星期天学校停车场会十分拥挤，若您找不到车位，千万别停在消防道上， 也就是画黄线的地方， 也不要堵住任何通道。

Dear Chinese School Families,

This semester will be over after the class on Sunday May 17th. Please be reminded again that Sunday classes start in the morning at 10AM. For most of students, it will be final exam day so be better prepared when you still have a few days to sharpen the pencils.

The routine of last day is listed below:
-Class starts at 10AM in the morning and ends by 11:30AM. No break in between.
-There is no culture class on May 17th. Only language class in the morning.
-Enrichment Math class open house by Qun Lu 10:15AM to 11AM in auditorium.
-Graduation ceremony and wrap-up take place in cafeteria from 11:45AM to 12:15PM.
-Potluck lunch 12PM to 1AM in cafeteria.
-Club activities in the new gym need to finish before 11:30AM for field day game setup.
-Field day activities kick off around 12:30PM in gym, ends by 3PM.
-Year book will be distributed by PTA in the morning.
-School closes by 3:30PM promptly.

The application process for TA position of coming school year has started. Please refer to the online TA policy (http://www.albanychineseschool.org/Schoolhandbook/2014-2015/AlbanyChineseSchool_TeachingAssistantPolicy.pdf)
and submit necessary application document to VP Xiaoqing Zhang. Students need to apply for the TA position by themselves instead of their parents. The TA policy installed since last year could be revised during the summer session to reflect best practice so far. The online version will be updated as soon as it is concluded.

The enrichment math class organizer, Qun Lu, will host an open house seminar in the auditorium from 10:15AM to 11AM.
She will explain the math class admission policy and procedure in the coming school year. Parents of current math class students and perspective students should take the opportunity to know the latest
rules.

Usually the parking lot will be very crowded during the last day. If you can’t find a parking space, please park at the adjacent high school parking lot. Do not park on the fire lane and block the entrance to school.

I hope everyone will have fun at the last day of Chinese School. And please keep up the good work by putting everything back to place when we are done.

中文学校的各位家长、老师，你们好，

祝大家母亲节快乐！

还剩两节课，我们这个学期就要结束了。本周末，学生画展还会继续在学校餐厅展览。获奖名单见附件，奖品和作品会在最后一天颁发。谢谢大家鼓励孩子们踊跃参加学校的活动。

SAT模拟中文考试成绩已经出来了。绝大部分学生取得了不错的成绩，充分的肯定了他们多年的坚持和努力。没有拿到成绩单的同学请与自己的老师联系。

这个周末本学年的最后一次校董事会议将在C206教室召开。时间是2:50PM到3:50PM。讨论的议题包括学校的工作回顾，财务审计，下个学年的人员安排，以及暑期工作。如果你有兴趣了解学校的运营情况，欢迎前来旁听我们的董事会。

最后一节课是5月17日。有关事项先提前通知大家：

Dear Chinese School Families,

Happy Mother’s Day to all!

In about two weeks, we will conclude this spring semester. Ahead of us there will be plenty of weekends for you to enjoy long-waited summer vacations.

The annual student art exhibit will be on display this Sunday again. The winners have been decided by a panel of art lovers. Please see attached announcement for details.

The application process for TA position of coming school year has started. Please refer to the online TA policy (http://www.albanychineseschool.org/Schoolhandbook/2014-2015/AlbanyChineseSchool_TeachingAssistantPolicy.pdf) and submit necessary application document to VP Xiaoqing Zhang.

We have received the SAT II Chinese Mock Test scores last week. These of you who took the SAT test should get your score sheet from your teacher. Congratulations to all of these who passed this exam.

The last council meeting will be held this Sunday 2:50PM to 3:50PM in C206. Topics to be discussed include operation and budget review, 2015-2016 roles and responsibilities, and summer work arrangement. If you are interested in knowing more details, please join us in C206 and find out how school has been operated.
