🎃关于10月27日庆祝万圣节的通知 🎃

为庆祝即将到来的万圣节，本校定于10月27日全体师生可以穿着万圣节礼服或进行装饰前来上课。

🍬学生们可以在课间休息时间前往食堂（cafeteria）Trick or Treat，或者由班级教师和助教带领，集体进行讨糖活动。

同时，万圣节礼服的义卖活动10月27号进入最后一天，服装购买价格由您自行决定，学校接受任何形式的捐款。

🎃 Notice Regarding the October 27th Halloween Celebration 🎃

To celebrate the upcoming Halloween, all students and staff are welcome to wear Halloween costumes or decorations to school on October 27th.

🍬 Students can Trick or Treat in the cafeteria during recess or participate in group Trick or Treating led by their teachers and assistants.

Additionally, October 27th will be the last day of our Halloween Costume Drive with prices set by you. You may take a costume, and the school will accept any form of donation.

⚠️中文学校中文讲故事比赛报名截止时间为2024 年10 月27 日 11:59PM

请感兴趣的学生速向本班老师报名！

⏰比赛时间:2024 年11 月10 日星期天 1:00PM – 4:00PM

📍比赛地点: Auditorium, Shaker Middle School, 475 Watervliet Shaker Rd, Latham, NY 12110

参赛资格: 中文学校在校所有学生（包括中文班和兴趣班）

将分为以下三组水平展开比赛：

中文学前幼儿班至二年级及CSL
中文三年级至五年级
中文六年级及以上

故事题材:故事必须与中国文化以及Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander Heritage有关, 包括成语故事,历史故事,谜语故事,古代诗歌故事,以及童谣故事，人物故事等。也可以挑选课堂上学到的故事。

ℹ️每班一共报名4 个故事参赛,可以按个人, 小组, 或者集体(班级)报名。每个故事时间限制在4分钟以内。

🙋‍♀️How to register: let your Chinese teacher know if you want to participate

The contest will be divided into the following three groups:

Chinese Preschool through 2rd Grade classes
Chinese 3th Grade through 5th Grade classes
Chinese 6th Grade & Above classes

Suggested topics: Short Chinese culture-related stories, Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander Heritage, such as Chinese idiom story, short Chinese history story, Chinese riddle story, Chinese ancient poem or children's folk song (for young students), or something you learn from the class.

Each class is recommended to select up to 4 stories for participation. Please limit the presentation time for each story to 4 minutes.

如果您在学费中预交了$60 PTA押金，欢迎您注册中文学校家长值日获得$40退款。其余$20用于年刊、学校活动费和其他费用。 每个家庭在学年结束时都会收到一本年刊。

🗓以下是开放的值日日期：

10月份：10/27（剩余2）；

11月份：11/03（剩余2）；11/17（剩余3）；11/24

12月份：12/08；12/15

值日时间是12:50 pm 到4:00 pm。
