Capital Region Chinese Community Center (CCC) Chinese School

hiring 2026-27 School Year Chinese Teachers

CCC Chinese School is the largest community for learning Chinese and promoting Chinese culture in the capital region. We’re a volunteer-based non-profit organization dedicated to serving local Chinese and non-Chinese families.

Our school offers systematic and comprehensive teaching courses ranging from preschool to grade 9, Chinese AP, and Chinese as a Second Language (CSL). We also organize Chinese cultural activities, fostering a rich learning environment.

Teaching Method: In-person

School Address: Shaker Middle School, 475 Watervliet-Shaker Rd, Latham, NY 12110

Teaching Period：Sunday afternoons, September 2026 to May 2027 (excluding school holidays), totaling 27 teaching days.

Job Duty：

Develop lesson plans and teach Chinese based on the syllabus. Review students’ homework, monitor learning progress and attend teacher training. Organize students to participate in school events.

Requirement：

o Proficiency in Mandarin, strong reading and writing skills, and basic English communication abilities. Compassionate, responsible, and patient.

o Applicants without teaching experience are encouraged to apply; the school offers training.
