中文学校一周简讯 3/15 - 本周末无课 / 电影之夜继续

中文学校的各位家长、老师，你们好，

这个星期继续没有中文课。下次上课是4月3日。

应广大家长要求，我们在微信平台上建了一个中文学校家长群。群二维码见附件。使用微信的家长只需要扫描一下二维码就可以入群了。

上个周末在华社举行的两项活动，识字比赛和中文电影之夜，在王洁老师、石云峰以及其他家长的组织协调下，都非常成功，学生们都很喜欢有这样的活动，把他们课堂上学到的知识用于实践。

中文电影之夜还会继续进行。

3月20日晚在华社播放动画片“宝莲灯”，对全校师生开放，报名连接如下。因为有报名限制（华社最多只能容纳40个孩子及家长），请报名的家长一定确认来看。如果不能前来，请提前通知石云峰家长(shiy2@rpi.edu, 734-355-6648)。

Dear Chinese School Families,

We continue to be on break this weekend. Class will resume on April 3rd.

Base on inputs from many parents, we are forming a WeChat group on social network platform WeChat. If you use WeChat app on your smart phone, you can scan the attached QR code to join the WeChat group.

Last weekend we had two wonderful events held at CCC, Spelling Bee and movie night. Many thanks to Jie Wang, Yunfeng Shi and other parents who have help coordinate these two events. It was clear that all the students enjoyed and had fun in these activities.

Since movie night is so popular, we decide to host a second movie night open to the entire school on March 20th from 6:30PM to 8:30PM at CCC. Movie to be shown is “Lotus Lantern”. You can find introduction on the following link (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lotus_Lantern).

CCC can host about 40 kids and their families so registration will be on first come first serve basis. If you have signed up and decide not to go later, please notify the host (Yunfeng Shi, shiy2@rpi.edu, 734-355-6648) immediately so we can save the spot for others. The registration link is below.

The movie shown last Sunday, “Prince Nezha's Triumph Against Dragon King”, will be on display March 27th 6:30PM to 8:30PM at CCC for 5th and 6th graders in Chinese School and their siblings, since the movie is related to what they have been learning in textbooks.
