中文学校一周简讯 3/2/2016

中文学校的家长们，你们好！

日头长了，懒觉就睡不成了。我家的小丫头以往八点还赖在床上，现在也不知不觉改成七点起了。

这个周末大部分高年级学生参加中文SAT模拟考试。考场在A207教室，请1PM准时到。先考听力理解，30题；然后是语法，25题；最后是阅读理解，30题。整个考试约1个小时。考生自带铅笔、橡皮等文具。考完交卷后，由老师统一讲解题目。

准备本学期毕业的同学，请在4月10日前将毕业申请递交给张晓清副校长。毕业申请表可以在学校网站上下载。

3月份有三个星期没有课。3月13日会在华社举行识字比赛，请参看附件的报名登记表，大家别忘了。3月20日在华社举行YCT四级考试，然后是教师会议。3月27日还没有安排。

另外，一些热心的家长正在安排学校第一个电影活动，等细节敲定了会通知大家。

Dear Chinese School Families,

It has been a few warm days. We can't guarantee winter is gone by now, however, days are much longer than nights. In just a week or two, we may put away skis and take out bicycles to feel the wind in a different way.

This Sunday (3/6) Chinese SAT II mock test will be held in room A207. Please bring pencils and erasers. The test itself is about one hour long. After the test, one of our teachers will go over the test questions on site.

For senior students who plan to graduate this semester, the deadline for
graduation application is April 10th. Please submit the application to Vice Principal Xiaoqing Zhang.

There will be no class for the next three Sundays, 3/13, 3/20 and 3/27. However, Chinese spelling bee contest will take place on 3/13 at CCC. See attached flyer for details. The YCT test will be held on 3/20 at CCC in the afternoon, followed by teacher’s conference. There is ongoing effort by a few parents to organize the first Chinese School movie show. I will keep you posted once the details are finalized.
