中文学校的家长们，你们好！

金猴到，烦恼消。一年一度的新春佳节即将来临，

在这辞旧迎新的日子里，祝大家平安健康，家庭美满幸福。

周六华社组织的新春晚会将在Egg表演大厅隆重举行，中文学校、本地各大学生会给大家带来各种精彩的节目，场外还将提供各种精品小吃，千万别错过这场盛会。

春节联欢活动，不仅仅是我们华人相聚、共同庆祝传统节日，也是一个给孩子们展示中华文化的平台。唯此希望中华文化在孩子们的心里生根发芽，代代相传。在这里同时感谢各位热心人士对中文学校的大力支持和帮助，感谢老师和家长们对节目编排的辛勤付出。

许多家长询问为什么学校春节不放假。答案很简单，初一的红包不能等到十五才发。红包代表了学校对孩子们的关爱和祝福。各班级家长代表记得周末上课来取。

另外，2月21日在学校将会有一个关于College Planning的讲座，主讲人是Michal Rusak。Rusak女士去年做过一次关于大学申请程序的普及讲座。这次的讲座侧重于如何有针对性的提前安排，讲座介绍请看附件。欢迎大家参加讲座、讨论。

Dear Chinese School Families,

This Sunday is a special day - Super Bowl 50 game and Chinese Spring Festival. What is more is that every student will receive a red packet of lucky money in school. I hope everyone will enjoy this particular day one way or the other. Wish the year of Monkey will bring good luck and happiness to you and your family.

CCC will be hosting a Chinese Spring Festival Celebration Party at the Egg on Saturday 2/6. Don’t miss the chance to see old acquaintance and meet new faces, and enjoy the show put together by many volunteers from Chinese School and local college student unions.

On Feb. 21st, there will be another seminar on college planning to be given by Michal Rusak. Mrs. Rusak talked about college admission process last semester. This will be a follow-up seminar focused on college planning. See
