中文学校的各位家长、老师，你们好，

祝大家新年好！希望大家节日都过得充实愉快，精神饱满的来中文学校上新年第一堂课。

上个学期末青少年义工团在Shaker Pointe举行的圣诞慰老音乐会非常成功，具体请看附件。青少年义工团在过去的秋学期组织了四次正式活动，还积极参与帮助了华社以及中文学校的一些活动。义工团的活动让更多的不同年龄、种族的人认识接触到华人，大大的拓展了我们华人社区的影响力。我们应该为他们的努力鼓掌，为他们的成长欣慰。希望他们新的一年更加出色。同时也感谢各位家长在幕后无私的奉献。

Dear Chinese School Families,

Happy 2015! I hope each one of you has enjoyed the holiday season and is well refreshed to start the spring semester this Sunday on January 4th.

End of last year the Youth Team performed a self-organized concert for senior residents at Shaker Pointe before Christmas Eve. Please see attached report for details. The performance was well received and they were invited to visit again. In the past fall semester there were four volunteering events organized by the Youth Team, in addition to help out in a few events organized by CCC or Chinese School. Under the leadership of Ryan Guo and Jeffrey Shen, the Youth Team has grown their reach and impact beyond Chinese community and I hope they keep the momentum. While we should all be proud of their achievement, I would also like to thank all the parents who have been supporting their effort. It is your involvement that makes things happen.
