各位家长，

为了激发中文学校学生对学习中文的兴趣，学校下一阶段将在各年级举行中文识字比赛。比赛将采用抢答方式进行，前三名（个人或集体）将获得金、银、铜牌作为奖励。要想孩子学好中文，除了个人努力和老师的辛勤培育，还需要家长的支持和鼓励。因此，请各位家长鼓励自己的孩子积极参与比赛，希望此次活动能给孩子们的中文学校带来乐趣和动力。

In order to stimulate the interest of students in learning Chinese at our Chinese school, the school will hold a Chinese "spelling bee" competition for each grade. The competition will be conducted in a quiz format, and the top three individuals or teams will be awarded gold, silver, and bronze medals. In order for children to excel in Chinese, besides their personal efforts and the hard work of teachers, parental support and encouragement are also essential. Therefore, we kindly ask parents to encourage their children to actively participate in the competition, and we hope that this event will bring joy and motivation to the students in their Chinese language learning journey.

建校50周年校庆标识设计征集截止日期推迟到4/16/23 !!!

The 50th Anniversary Logo Contest Due date is extended to 4/16/23 !!!

2023年是首府华社中文学校建校50周年。为回顾学校发展历程，扩大学校社会影响，学校决定举行建校50周年庆祝活动。现面向全校师生，家长, 校友征集建校50周年校庆标识（LOGO）设计。

✅作品要求是原创设计手绘图、电脑制图均可。

✅校庆标识整体设计应主题明确，充分体现50周年校庆主题、体现学校文化内涵和特有元素；构图精美、寓意丰富、形式简洁、易于识别；符合标识设计，表达规范，便于进行各类延伸推广应用。

🔘参赛者: 中文学校家庭（曾经和正在就读的学生及其家庭成员）

⏰截止日期： 4/16/2023

💰评选奖励：
一等奖： 1名，$50 礼卡
二等奖： 1名，$25 礼卡
三等奖： 5名，各$5礼卡

2023 marks Capital Region Chinese Community Center Chinese School’s 50th year! The school is celebrating by hosting a 50th Anniversary Logo Design Competition.

✅The LOGO design is required to be an original work, either a paper or digital version is accepted.
✅The logo’s design should reflect the values of the Chinese School. This includes creating school-appropriate design content. The logo must be appropriate for a professional setting. The submitted logo must be easy to use, handle, resize, and manipulate for all reproduction purposes.

🔘Who can participate: Chinese school teachers, students, parents, and alumni

⏰Deadline: 04/16/2023

🔘How to submit:
▶️Interested persons should note that their electronic or paper submission must include their name, telephone number, email address, and a brief explanation of the design and the main ideas represented.
▶️Electronic version submission: email school.events@cccalbany.org
▶️Paper version submission: to Vice-principal - Mrs. Yi Lei

💰Prizes:
First place: 1 winner- $50 gift card
Second place: 1 winner $25 gift card
Third place: 5 winners- $5 gift card each
