YCT (Youth Chinese Test)考试不仅是对孩子们汉语水平的认证考试，也是中文学校学生毕业必须满足的条件之一。

*CSL学生报考三级考试。
*中文学校五年级和六年级学生报考4级考试。
报名费免费，如学生考试当天弃考，学生需补偿中文学校考试报名费。

The YCT (Youth Chinese Test) test is not only a certification test for children's Chinese proficiency, but also one of Chinese school graduation requirements.

*CSL students register for the Level 3 exam.
*Students in the fifth & sixth grades of the Chinese school register the Level 4 exam.
The registration fee is free, but the fee must be compensated if the student is absent for the test.

中文AP模拟考试报名截止日期－2／19／23 Chinese AP Mock Test Registration

AP中文模拟考试现在开始报名了！

报名对象：历届中文学校毕业生或现就读中文学校中文班级7年级及以上学生

报名截止日期： 2/19/2023 (星期日)

考试日期：考试分别在周六及周日各举办一场，学生可任选一场参加。
第一场：2022年3月11日（星期六）12:00 PM~3:00 PM（美東)
第二场：2022年3月12日（星期日）12:00 PM~3:00 PM（美東)

考试时间：12:00 PM~3:00 PM（美东）9:00 AM~12:00 AM（美西）， 11:00 AM~2:00 PM（美中）。

成绩单：成绩单将于 4/30/2023 或之前直接电邮给考生及学校报名联络人。

考试程序：AP 中文考试分两部分，第一部分（听力和阅读)，而第二部分（写作和口语表考试包括听、说、读、写四部分。考试内容概括 AP 中文六大主题，考试范围、方式、评分标准等项目，均比照 College Board AP 中文考试办理。

如报考学生现就读中文学校中文班7年级及以上，需要考试复习资料，请联系本班老师。

Registration for the AP Chinese Mock Exam is now open!

Applicants: Graduates of Chinese schools or students who are currently studying in Chinese schools in grade 7 or above

Application Deadline: 2/19/2023 (Sunday)

Exam date: Exams are held on Saturday and Sunday respectively, and students can choose one to take.
Session 1: March 11, 2022 (Saturday), 12:00 PM~3:00 PM (Eastern Standard))
Session 2: March 12, 2022 (Sunday) 12:00 PM~3:00 PM (Eastern Standard))

Exam time: 12:00 PM~3:00 PM (Eastern Standard), 9:00 AM~12:00 AM (Pacific Standard), 11:00 AM~2:00 PM (Central Standard ).

Test result: The score will be emailed directly to students and the Chinese School on or before 4/30/2023.

Examination Content: The AP Chinese exam is divided into two parts, the first part (listening and reading), and the second part (writing and speaking). The exam includes four parts: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. , methods, scoring standards, and other items are handled in accordance with the College Board AP Chinese exam.

If the student is currently studying in the seventh grade or above of the Chinese class in a Chinese school and needs exam review materials, please contact the teacher of the class.

各位CSL班级，中文五年级，六年级班级的家长和学生们，

今年的YCT(Youth Chinese Test) 考试现在开始报名了，华社中文学校将组织学生参加2023年3级和4级的YCT纸笔考试。以下报名链接, 也可以扫描QRCode（见附件）报名。

YCT考试的具体信息如下：

(1) 报名截止日期 (Registration Deadline )：2/5/2022 (星期日 Sunday) 12:00PM(EST)

(2) 报名注册时，学校将统一支付考试费用（3级$20，4级$25）。如学生报名注册了本次考试，却在考试当天缺席，学生需补交相应的考试费用。

(3) 建议报考年级：CSL学生可报名YCT-3级考试。中文班五、六年级学生可报名参加YCT-4级考试。

(4) 考试时间 (Test Date and Time):　3/19/2022 (星期天 Sunday) 13:00PM(EST)

This year's YCT (Youth Chinese Test) exam is now open for registration, Chinese School will organize students to take the YCT paper-pencil test for levels 3 and 4 in 2023. The following registration link, you can also scan the QRCode (see attachment) to register.

The specific information on the YCT exam is as follows:

(1) Registration Deadline: 2/5/2022 (Sunday) 12:00PM(EST)

(2) The school will prepay the registration fee($20 for level 3, $25 for level 4). If a student registers for the test but is absent on the test day, the student must reimburse school the test fee.

(3) Who should take the test? CSL students can apply for YCT-3 level examination. Students in the fifth and sixth grades of the Chinese class can sign up for the YCT-4 test.

(4) Test Date and Time: 3/19/2022 (Sunday) 13:00PM(EST)

新年红包 Chinese New Year Red Envelopes-1/29/23

拜年了！祝大家兔年吉祥如意。

周日1月29号中文学校每个班级的孩子们会收到老师发放的新年红包。

希望孩子领到红包时，能送上几句新年祝福的话。比如“新年快乐，身体健康，恭喜发财”等等。

Dear all,

Wishing you and your family have a happy and prosperous year of rabbit!

In light of the holiday, all children in Chinese school will receive red envelopes from their class teachers on Sunday January 29th.

We would like to ask children to recite a few traditional New Year’s wishes while receiving the red envelopes such as “Zhù nǐ xīnnián kuàilè, shēntǐ jiànkāng, gōng xǐ fā cái” etc.
