第十一届北美黄河杯中文有奖读书竞赛通知

(1) 比赛时间: 2022年5月1日 → 2022年8月31日（即日起可以报名、购书）
(2) 比赛阅读材料
初级《第12届世界华人学生作文大赛获奖文选》
中级《民俗风物》
高级《三国演义》- 原著前40回
(3) 比赛方式: 首先阅读文章，然后在网上答题。比赛初级99篇短文，中级95篇短文，高级原著前40回。 每篇有10个问题，每题有4选1的答案。请让学生 先试样品。
(4) 适合参赛人员: 世界各地凡是以中文为外语，学习了几年中文的学生均可以参赛。 然而，凡是已经获得过初、中级一等奖、二等奖合计两次的学生 应该参加中、高级水平的比赛。
(5) 中文水平: 初级至少要认识 500 个汉字，中级至少 1000 个汉字，高级至少 1800 个汉字。请用 Character Game http://www.ewritechinese.com/evaluation/ 查字。如得了1000分，相当于500字（每字2分）。
(6) 参赛费: 每人$25，网上报名 http://www.ewritechinese.com/registration/网上提供初级书本$10
注意 : 报名时一定要用学生本人的姓名，以免奖状或证书上出现家长的名字。
(7) 奖励和奖金:
初级与中级一等奖各 1 个，奖金各 $50 ；
初级与中级二等奖各 2 个，奖金各 $25 ；
初级三等奖 10 个，中级三等奖 3 个，奖金各 $15 。
高级今年仍为试点，有名次。如果学生能够读完50回，会有适当奖励。
成绩凡是达到 70% 的学生将获得奖状证书。

(9) 合作者: 北美各地的中文老师或家长。5人集体报名可获免邮寄费（同一地址）。

各位老师, 家长和学生,

今年的毕业申请开始了。在中文学校完成从一年级到八年级的学业,并且当年至少是当地美国学校八年级或更高年级的学生可以申请。

请看附件中文学校毕业具体申请条例。符合毕业申请条件并需要申请今年五月份毕业的学生需要填写下面的Google Form。

请注意填写申请表时需要上传两个文件：
(1) 一张学生正面大头照 （学校将用于年刊）
(2) 中文老师填写好的学生中文水平评估表 （见附件）

申请的截止日期是４月24日。学校收到学生申请后，将由毕业评审委员会审批是否准予毕业。

Hi Everyone，

Following North Colonie School District guidance and protocol, masking in Chinese School will be optional.

As we have all had different experiences through this pandemic, with different perspectives and personal connections, this change brings about a variety of emotions for each of us. Undoubtedly， we will have many students and staff who continue to wear masks in specific spaces or throughout the school. We will also have many who choose to not wear masks. As a school community, we accept these personal decisions without judgment or question.

一年一度的中文学校绘画比赛拉开序幕啦！ 今年我们将恢复线下比赛的形式。

【比赛主题：疫情与生活】

ℹ️绘画内容题材广泛， 除了生活学习相关的之外，还可以画表达对医务工作者或一线工作人员的感激或提倡打疫苗等，任何与COVID 都可以。

ℹ️比赛免费参加，中文学校学生包括助教均可参加。

ℹ️不限工具和形式：素描、水彩画、蜡笔画、油画, 笔画等均可。

ℹ️每个学生只限交一副作品参赛 。

⏰截稿日期：2022年3月13日 1：30pm

ℹ️作品交至中文学校行政桌－雷奕副校长， 递交时请附上个人信息标签（请看附件个人信息标签）。

所有递交作品将会在中文学校的cafeteria 展览！

Chinese School Annual Art Contest has kicked off! This year we will resume in-person submission.

[Theme of Contest: Life during the COVID pandemic]

The subject is wide-ranging as long as related to COVID. In addition to illustrate the life during the pandemic, you can also use the art to deliver gratitude to medical workers or front-line workers or advocate vaccination, etc.

The contest is free to participate. Chinese school students including teaching assistants can participate.

Any format of artwork such as sketches, watercolors, crayons, oil paintings, and more is acceptable.

Each student is only allowed to submit one piece of work.

Deadline: March 13, 2022 1:30pm

Submit artwork to the school administrative desk - Vice Principal Mrs Yi Lei. Please attach an information label with artwork (personal information label is attached).

All artworks will be exhibited in the cafeteria of the Chinese school!

🟥周日（2月6日），Times Union 报社记者将会来中文学校拍摄春节花絮并报道春节。请家长，学生和孩子们穿上中国传统衣饰或红色衣服来校。

🐲1:45pm： 学校大厅将举行舞龙游行，请感兴趣的学生或家长们穿上中国传统衣服或红色衣服前来加入舞龙游行！

✂️1:30pm-3:00pm：学校大厅举办剪纸展览，诚邀剪纸艺术家岳建玲女士展示中国剪纸，同时现场教剪纸，请感兴趣的家长和学生们可在1:30到3:00之间任何时间前来学剪纸。因疫情时期，请大家自带剪刀。

🟥Sunday (2/6), a reporter from Times Union is coming to Chinese School to take pictures of celebrating CNY. We would like to ask everyone wearing either red or traditional Chinese clothes.

📷1:30pm: Everyone is welcome to come to the cafeteria to take photos taken by a Times Union reporter. Please dress your best in red or traditional clothes.
