Dear Parents and students,
The annual Chinese Storytelling Contest Registration is open!
Storytelling competition has been a school tradition over the years, the goal is to provide students with an opportunity to present the Chinese they learned, cultivate students' interest in learning Chinese and Chinese culture, and improve their Chinese speaking.
Competition time: Sunday, October 30, 2022 1:00PM – 4:00PM
Who can participate: CSL, Kindergarten, 1st to 5th-grade Chinese Class students.
Competition form: individual or group (more than 2 people count as a group)
The time of each story is limited to 3 minutes.
Story theme: The content is not limited, it can be poetry, short stories, riddles, idiom stories, fables, nursery rhyme, etc., or it can be the content learned in the class.
Special attire and props can be used during the competition.
How to register: Contestants should register with the teacher of the class. The registration contents include the student's name (in Chinese and English) and the story name.
The registration deadline: October 16, 2022, 11:59 PM.
Before the competition, you can submit a PPT as the stage background, including the name of the contestant, class, and class teacher in the PPT.
