Python - Beginner to Python Programming (2021-2022)

This course is intended for children between 8 and 14 years old. We will cover the basics of programming using the Python programming language. The course will make heavy use of graphics and games to teach basic concepts. The students should be able to write simple programs and understand basic programming constructs like loops or subroutines by the end of the course.

Requirements
The course will require a laptop that the student can operate. In the Fall semester a Chromebook will be sufficient. In the Spring the student will require a computer running Windows or Mac OS. The computer should have a working network adapter.

The student will also require an email account.
